Water
Of course water is the healthiest drink since your body is made of up to 70% water and water is involved with nearly every bodily process. How much water should I drink? PubMed research suggests 2,200ml for women and 3,000ml for men daily1. It is impossible to define the healthiest drinks We can't really rank the healthiest drinks in any particular order because what is healthiest for you will depend upon your body and your bodies deficiencies. We will explore them one by one according to scientific research and history. We begin with orange juice because it a favorite healthy drink across the world.
Orange Juice
In my personal experience, I realized the health benefits of drinking orange juice daily after two particular international flights. On both of these flights I was to fly half way around the world, being on an airplane breathing recycled air for over 20 hours. In both cases, within the first few hours I developed a painful, throat, cough, and flu like symptoms. Juices were free and unlimited so I decided to test huge amounts of orange juice on my cold. So, for the next 18 or so hours I drank as much 100% orange juice as I could. Both times, I got off the airplane with no cold symptoms. I then made orange juice a part of my daily life, drinking more if I felt any cold symptoms. I lived in China during the worst part of the Corona Virus pandemic, was exposed to many people, and during that time until the time of this writing, (about three years) never developed Corona virus nor and other flu or cold. I am convinced orange juice is a necessity for your immune system.
Scientific research on just some of the benefits of drinking orange juice have confirmed benefits by protecting cells, healing wounds, contributing to smoother skin, fight anemia, boost your immune system, fight age-related degeneration, and help to fight cancer.2
